Touch & Go Satnav Problem

We've had our '13 plate Yaris Trend for a month or two now and have noticed that the Touch & Go Satnav has developed an issue were some times, the satnav thinks its in a completely different place than we actual are.

What I mean is, I start the car, go down the road but on the sat nav, it showing that I'm over the other side of the town ? .. Clearly this isn't right. Anybody else have this issue ?

Some times it ok and some times its not so there is no way to 'recreate' this issue on request ? Is there somewhere to do like a 'system reset' ?

Have you tried updating it's software ?

I updated it about a month ago.. I'll try again tomorrow and see if there has been an update since..

And to be honest, it only started to do it after the last update ... Well I think so anyway..

I think you just discovered the problem then, install again or any update and test it...

Mine occasionally thinks I'm a street or two to the east of where I am but only occasionally and only for 2 or 3 minutes after start up before it corrects itself. The other side of town suggests there's something wrong.

Would it be possible to get a passenger to film it when it does it next to show the dealer?

Might be software or a dodgy GPS antenna.
