Auris 1.33 Running Cold (Thermostat Faulty?)

Hey folks,

My Auris 1.33 seems to be taking a lot longer to warm up than it used to.

About 30 minutes to warm up, heats up quite quick if i leave the heater fan off but when its on it sucks all the heat out of the engine!

I suspect the thermostat is probably faulty?

Has anyone any idea where it is on this engine, any special instructions for replacing it?

Cheers,

Steve.

I doubt the thermostat will be faulty tbh. If it heats up OK without the fan on then I think you are just up against a small engine heating vs you pulling heat out with the fan. I have the 1.33 and reckon on around 3 miles for the gauge to show normal in moving 30 mph traffic. I never have the fan on over "2 bars" on the display.
