I Hope I Found The Leak :)

So i thought is it was a door seal, And it still might be, However i took the door card off to revel the speaker door membrane to be made of foam and with signs of water penetration!

The !Removed! thing was made of foam and fell right off in my had never even had to pull.

Im gona pop down to the DIY store and grab some Sika Flex and get on the phone to toyota and get a price for a set of them.

Anybody any idea how much these things cost from the main dealer ?

You need modified part # PZ473-90240-01 which is a pair of front door speaker membranes in a "closed cell" foam rather than the earlier "open cell" foam which leaked, from memory they are less than £10

Cheers Mate :), I have sorted the leak, i went out and taped a bag to the inside of the car and put it into the Door, do leaks at all now but you can see the bag is covered in water.

Good job Toyota didnt just change the seals and charge me £200, cant think how toyota even thought foam would keep the water out, let alone thinking the Epoxy like rigid glue would hole the things in place :)
