Avensis D4D 04 - Service Manual Needed

To begin with, I have already downloaded the pdf doc on this site for a repair manual. This manual seems to be very helpful but is for someone that is a professional I would think. So for someone whom is an enthusiastic diy'er - and with a fair bit of knowledge on bmw's - is there a more simplistic guide on maintenance? Its disappointing that Heynes do not have manuals in this car.

unfortunately no the .pdf is the only thing available and it has been said many times that the likes of Haynes are missing out here. The only other place to go is the Toyota-europe site at

http://www.toyota-tech.eu

click on the link, then go to the "repair" tab, some info is free but you can pay a small fee for time/downloads I believe. :-)

I use the Haynes manual for the corolla .... it has the same engine (1CD-FTV) and in most things it give a good insight for most job... once you have a clue, then refer to the pdf files for torque settings.
