Buzzer Noise Disappeared

Strange thing, had the car 6 months ,no problems, took it in to dealers for free valet, got car back and thought something was different. It took me a couple of hours to work out what it was.

Previously when key was placed in ignition and turned to first position, a buzzer went off, then dissapeared when engine turned over.

Now when key inserted and turned ,no sound at all.

Of course it does not affect anything , but what was the buzzer for in the first place,

There is a buzzer which operates when the key is in either the 'Lock' or 'Acc' position, and the door is open(ed). This is a reminder to remove the key.

No, that's not it,just before the key was turned to its final position ,a high pitched buzzer would sound ,

As this is my first Toyota ,and was like that when I collected it from the dealers( 2 year old ,1.6 tr), I assumed it was the norm
