Things Come In Threes, Hopefully

After twelve years with my last car and nothing much happening to it I eventually decided to replace it last December with a brand new Toyota Avensis T-Spirit.

Both my wife and I have really enjoyed driving the new car.

About a month ago a friend of ours accidentally reversed into the side of our car near the back :crybaby:

Three days later two teenage lads decided to dance on the roof and front bonnet of the car :censor: :censor:

We did not catch them unfortunately.

Finally having got both my insurance and our friends insurance to O.K. repairs the car was due to go in to the garage today.

Yesterday, as my wife was turning right (while indicating right), from one residential road into another side road, a woman decided to overtake her on the right. She hit the back passenger door the drivers door the front wing and wheel doing a fair amount of metal twisting damage.

The woman then proceeded to drive off without getting out of her car :censor: :censor: :censor:

Her car appears to have false number plates, apparently. Ho Hum.

Apparently this is increasingly prevelant, especially since the introduction of the C-Charge in London.

I do hope the police catch her, though.

Don't really know what to say except Rotten Luck Mate.

(if things do happen in threes though, at least you should be OK for a while.)

I had the same happen to me 2 years back, dual carriageway, a guy undertook me on a slip road, forced me into the cones, they went under the front wheels, so I lost control £4000 worth of damage, and of course i span so many times, could not get the guys number as he drove off!

I know it sounds terrible, seeing as they are such nice cars, but the main thing is that your missus was not hurt! hope nothing else happens any more mate

Yes very fortunately no-one was hurt. Particularly since the children were in the car as well.

Once I get the car back from the body shop, next month, I hope nothing else happens. :(
