Hi All, new to the site so apologise if this has been asked before.

Have a N reg raz 4 which wouldn't start, got rac out and the said has a faulty immobiliser. Is it possible to bypass the immobiliser and if so does anyone know how too?

Thanks

Dan

Some of the early Ravs had a Scorpion immobiliser. Toyota then fitted a different unit which was operated by a chip impregnated key - the separate fob operated the central locking - not the immobiliser. Please can you identify the system you have. If it's the chipped key type - are you perhaps using a copy key?

It is possible to remove the immobiliser. Best take the car or call in an auto-electrician. The immobiliser part can be bypassed/removed.
