this is what i fitted today a blitz sus induction kit. has made an awesome engine sound and a good power gain with no flat spots on pull away and through the gears not that i have put it to the test lol. i have a k&n apollo induction kit on my seat leon cupra r and it does not compare to this filter by far. it is not as hard or scary to fit as you would think. i had trouble because my instructions came in chinese/japanese and could not find much help anywhere. i fitted this on my celica st205 gt4 3sgte 1994. if anyone gets instructions in foriegn send me a thread and i will write you a step by step guide as best i can to help you. next i will be fitting my forge intercooler or my silicone hoses for my charge cooler.

Looks like a nice, neat easy job there Scott. Away from the engine to reduce heat soak & getting a cooler air supply from the wing presumably

hi paul and thanks yeah cold air intake still coming from wing i am going to get a blue 80mm flexi pipe and cut a circle in grill in between headlights and try to get a secondry cold air feed to it i have a circular planged facing piece to go onto back of pipe and to pass through grill. may put honeycomb mesh sprayed black over front of it to stop anything being put in it or getting forced into it i.e little birds lol :bye:

Just make sure you don't fall for the hydro-lock scenario - when rain water runs straight up the intake & soaks the filter so bad it can choke the engine ! I know this from an earlier experiment & was lucky not to damage anything ...... Certainly made the dash light up though, lol.

good thinking mate. so i will have it straight into back of grill then as it comes into engine bay i will raise pipe upwards so anything that did get in willrun out forwards rather than being sucked into filter. many thanks for that
