4.2 Nv Wing To Fit 4.2 Gx ?

Hi All,

Some bar-steward damaged the passenger front wing on my beloved 2001 gx at the weekend in our car park and got away unseen and it's going to need a new one. To save money, I wanted to fit a good s/h one, I've found one listed one eBay for a 2000 - 2003 2.0vvti , all good so far , even the same colour, only thing is it's an 'NV' model

Question is a. Will it fit and b. Will I be able to transfer the grey plastic trim which is still ok from my wing to the nv one ? I'm not sure how the trim fits on.

Any help greatfully received.

Regards,

Norm

Just had a reply from the wing seller, apparently it's the champagne colour - bugger it looked silver in the picture. So, there seem to be several silver wings of the right era but they are from VX 's instead of a GX , will these fit , can I remove the VX arch trim and fit the GX version?

Anyone know?

Cheers,

Norm

I would stick my neck out here and say that all the body shells,of the same vintage, start out the same and it is only the amount of toys they then stick on as per the spec sheet order.

Anyone able to shoot me down on this?

The aftermarket body panel catalogue shows two different front wings 00-06 - described as with and without moulding hole. A new wing is £34 so hardly worth getting a 2nd hand wing unless theres a colour match. One company will paint the wing to your code before despatch - obviously extra cost.
