Stereo Stopping Reading Cd

my 2009 auris stereo has stopped reading cds and wont eject any ...

has anyone had some similar issues

I don't own your brand of cd player, but I would get a cd lens cleaner. This is a cd with brushes that remove any dirty on the lens.

I have had a similar problem where the cd player of my factory Sony unit, would not play any cds or they kept jamming. I dismantled the system and found that part off the transport mechanism had come apart. This was due to the previous owners (my brother or his wife) forcing the cd into the slot. I even found a cd in the slot. After a bit of cleaning and re-assembling, the Sony was as good as new.

From your post, you may have a wear and tear situation, and the lens and/or sensor may be dirty.

Also try to resetting your stereo, by removing the fuse. I not sure if that will work though.

Hopefully you can get it working or get a replacement, which is not ideal.
