Hi

Ive just bought a 54 plate avensis t4 1.8 vvti.

The car is excellent condition but the display for the tns300 sat nav that also displays trip info doesnt light up at night so you cant read it.

Is it meant to light up at night like the rest of the dashboard?

Ive looked at the manual that came with the car for the tns300 system and cant find anything in there relating to the units screen lighting at at night.

Thanks

Craig

Been back to the dealer. Turns out theres 2 led light bulbs that light this display up when the car lights are turned on. Unfortunately they soldered to the circuit board for the display and the unit needs sending back to toyota to have the bulbs replaced. Lucky you can run the car fine without this unit and your just left with a hole where the screen should be till its returned.

Covered under the cars warrenty.
