:( I opened up the ECU today and discovered no pinout assignment on the PC board. Does anyone have this information? Thanks.

It doesn't have to be from an MR2. I would be intereseted in ECU pinout from the Celica Beams or even the Alterza (sp?) Beams.

Maybe the guys on the Lexus board may be able to help (seems to be where all the 'tezza's hand out).

But wouldn't the Black top have a different ECU? Having twin VVTi?

I've got the bin outs for a few 3S-GTE motors .. but not the Beams stuff ..

I would expect the Altezza guys to hang out in the Toyota forum since it's a Toyota in Japan but the Lexus board does make better sense.

I believed the Black Top beams is a int & exh VVTi. But I'm hopping the pinouts from the ECU to the rest of the car's accessories are similar.

The pinouts I'm interested is STA, STP, W, A/C1, ELS, ABS, IDL, PS, PSCT, SPD, and ACT.

Base on color matching of wirings (from a Gen 3 3sgte), I got the ACT, PSCT, and SPD. A/C and ELS are usally a black wires but there are three same black wires in the two plugs (soild black, and one sliver dash). There are two greens (W).. and two reds (STA) .. but looks exactly the same so I don't know about those two. I have to do further tracing and see where its spliced.

Oh Joy!
