I am nearly there with my install although i have a small query......i am installing a 100W active Mini-sub under my seat (Blaukpunt) it is amplified and i have wired up the red/yellow/black wires into my HU wires (if you know what i mean)......it is working no probs with that setup although it is very quiet.........would it perform better if i wired it straight to the Battery instead and if so where would i put the yellow lead, the black, i would put to the securing bolt on the seat. Many thanx to any replies in advance. Have also posted this on the Audio forum.

well then i would try running the red to the Battery as the current draw may be very low from the headunit, i would have though the sub was capable of takin 12volts aswell (would be very daft not to) remember to have a fuse in the circuit and then attach the black to a decent ground point. yellow can stay where it is as its just a remote lead effectively

Cheers for that...........just got this little job to do and then wire in the main amp at the back and i should be there...........where does the live wire come out after you have put it through the grommet..........do i have to take some panels off etc???.

its a case of trial and error to be honest, make sure its going through the grommit and then remove the glove box to make life a tad easier.

just wiggle the wire through and try and put your hand up the back of the dash behind the air con filter thing.

its best if you have small hands as you can sometimes reach upto the grommit.
