Clutch Problem?

Hi all.. Newbie here hoping you can lend a helping hand.

I have a problem with my clutch/gearbox which I could do with a bit of advise on.

2002 celica vvtli- 190.

When pulling off in first gear I have a Lot of judder- I can feel the judder in the clutch pedal and passengers can also feel the judder indicating it's quite severe. It almost feels like it's going to stall unless I rev the engine to 2-3k rpm.

It's noticeably worse once the engine warms up but is still noticeable when cold.

When the clutch pedal is pressed- a squeaking noise can be heard from the clutch/gearbox area.

Also when de-accelerating the car almost whines and makes a go-kart like sound which goes when I press the clutch in.

I've done the test to see if my clutch is slipping in a high gear at 30mph and accelerating and it doesn't seem to be slipping.

What do you guys think this could be- my mind is going towards the flywheel however I have a horrible feeling my gearbox is caked!!

Any help would be much,y appreciated! Thanks in advance. Nathan

Squeaking clutch seems to be a comon problem, I don't think it's related to your problem but this is how you fix it.

Sorry but I can't help you with your other problem. If your gearbox was the problem I'd imagine you would have trouble putting it in gear or would be crunching.

Try changing your gearbox oil first. Redline MT-90 is what the celica seems to like best.
