Newbie help please.

My wife has a Rav4 2008 with the 58827 single disc head unit. It stopped working (no power, but clock works) last week so took to my local dealer and he said that the head unit is dead. The cost to replace it is 3150 incl VAT?????????

I believe it can be fixed and it's now out of the car can anyone recommend somewhere to get it fixed?

Give SVT Services, Edinburgh a call. You'll need to send them the unit but they should be able to repair. Do you possibly mean model 58827.
