Whining T180

Could anybody shed any light in this for me?

Our rav t180 seems to have developed a whining/whistling under acceleration. It's not very loud and I think it may only be doing it when the car is warmed up although can't be entirely sure as it's my wife's car and I rarely drive it.

Any suggestions greatfully received!

There's many possibilities so you may need to glean a bit more information. Possibilities are induction system leaks (cracked hoses, loose clips), turbo, auxiliary belt / tensioner, ...................... Most turbos that have covered a fair few miles will whine a little under acceleration.
