E Brake Adjustment

Hy , could some one expline to me , how does e-brake is adjusting ?

Hi miticip, go to the pinned items at the start of the page and click on Technical Information.

Then scroll down to rav4.2 you will find a great guide on how to do this(thanks to Anchorman)It is called the handbrake

The diagrams shown on the pinned article are of a 4.3 not of a 4.2 - the holding down clips / pins, operating mechanism and springs are different. If you working on certain models of the 4.3, theres no need to remove the handbrake housing to reach the adjuster nut - simply pull out the small panel that houses the mirror adjuster and folding button to gain access.
