If only i wasnt a student, i would spend more money on cosmetics, but these things have to take there place.

i need to fit my gearbox, couldnt turn up to a meet with third gear crunching like a mo fo, oh....no!

do many people go with gen 4 celicas??

Its all good. I was worried about taking mine (still am to be honest) but all the peeps in our club have been egging me on to go

I went 2 years back (had a wedding last year ) and only saw one gen 4.

OK, she was an absolute corker but these machines are getting rare!

Having ur motor on show is a great buzz (mine went on at !Removed! earlier this year) and u'd be keeping the classic celica numbers up, and have a great time chatting about cars all weekend with the good people from all the toyota clubs :D

here we go again....

Last year JAE was great fun and it really does not matter whether your car is a glemaing example or a wreck, the most thing about the weekend is the opportunity for everyone tyo get together have a laugh and more than a few beers, and if last year was anything to go by Sambuca's (Ken).....

Here's a quick run down of last year (abbreviated):

Arrive in convoy

Throw cars on stand

Open Beer

Discuss what to do

Open another beer

put marquis up (while opening more beers)

move cars

OPen another beer

put tents up beer

get curry from onsite curry house

beer

laugh, sambuca, beer, sambuca beer, beer...

give marks out of ten for max muppetness at 3 in the morning to passing muppets

beer

wake early to roadrunner & creech's monster coffe (thanks guys)

open more beer

you get the picture.....

it's a superb weekend, great cars, great people, oh and almost forgot the go karting track they have there as well....

if the weather is up for it you can even go jet skiing :)

yes my m8, I'll be there with mine, and it's not show standard. bring it along!! i went to japfest with a knackered clutch slave cylinder, crucnching and grinding all the way - 500mile round trip. glad to say is all fixed now.

if u intend on fixing it up - bring it so we can see it again next year after youve worked on it.

3rd gear crunch?? ive got 2nd crunch. havent noticed it as much since my new slave cylinder - £70 fitted. gonna put new oil in the gearbox as well. trying to relax the problem rather than spending £££s on a gear box rebuild.

I'll be there with my Gen4 also! She's got a couple of rust bubbles and she's not modified at all but i dont care who see's her cuz I think the Gen 4 Celica's were the most beautiful ever made (especialy red ones )

Gen4 Celica's are a dying breed which is a crying shame so you should bring yr car along no matter what the condition!

Maybe there should be a seperate section on this board just for us Gen4 owners as there seems to be a lot of ground covered for the likes of the Gen 7's and the GT4's etc.

It'd be good to be able to discuss topics with other Gen4 owners :D :D :D
