Hi I have a 2003 yaris 1.4 d4d and its done 103000 miles so I need to change the timing chain. I am a fairly competent mechanic but does anyone have a guide on the timing marks and what is involved as I have never done a timing chain on a Toyota before. Thanks Tom

What is wrong with the chain, Toyota regard it as a whole life item and don't have a replacement schedule.

The info you require can be purchased from here: http://www.toyota-tech.eu/

access can be bought by the hour, day, week etc

hi, its just noisey and the water pump is leaking so I was going to change both at the same time. Is it a big job to change cam chain and water pump. do I need any special tools to lock the cams or fuel pump? Thanks Tom
