Verso 2013 Rear Light (Passenger Side) Damage

Recommended Posts

Hi, I reversed into a tree yesterday after a day out with kids, I called toyota dealership and apparently it costs £120 to order new one and £60 for replacing. Although the damage is limited to the cover only, I need to replace it all. My question is, is the replacement straightforward so that I can do it myself? I haven't found any videos or instruction to do that.

Thanks for your help. post-95462-0-81013700-1392996694_thumb.j

I would have thought it would be relatively straightforward.

Disconnect the lights. and remove bulbs. Unbolt the fitting - probably accessible from inside the boot interior panels - but be careful you don't drop anything inside the cavity. When fitting the new one, just be careful positioning the light cluster especially as regards the seal. Just take your time.

Have you tried sending Parts King a personal message (see Sponsors Corner on the Community page), and asking him what price he can do a rear cluster for.

As regards the bumper, you could get a SMART repair done from someone like ChipsAway or similar.

Many thanks for your reply. I'll definitely look into fitting it myself or with help from a friend. I need also to get me some new glasses, I should have gone for Specsaver to avoid such mistakes ;)
