Hello form France

i am the owner of a RAV4 2 D4D 2003.

i cannot find the answers i need on the french forums.

i have some problems to change the serpentine belt , i have seen a nice post on the forum which is tacking about the time belt on D4D.

I would like to find some détails and pics regarding the macamical of the serpentine belt ( tension roll)

I do not know if you have seen Anchorman's thread on Timing belt renewal - it might answer your question. Follow this link and have a look at the included '.pdf' files, some of which relate to the Serpentine belt.

hello John,

yes i had a look at this post.

in fact i could'nt unlock the scew inside de pulley sow i remove the oil pump.

the srew was damaged by an other !Removed! before

this bracket is mounted with 3 screws and you can remouve it without open the oil circuit.

my new belt is installed and no noise anymore
