As above I have a continuous clicking/Ticking sound from drivers side wheel area, We have already changed the offside driveshaft, has anyone across this problem before?

Its more apparent when turning left or when wheel is slightly turned left on a straight run.

any possible suspects are welcome, Need to get to the bottom of it, its so annoying.

wheel bearing?

ball joint?

anti roll bar bushes?

anything else?

Wheel bearing sounds a possibility, the trouble with them is being dual parallel bearings they don't give you the feel of free play. The only thing I can suggest is jack up, take the wheel off and gently turn the hub feeling for any slight roughness, maybe take out the brake pads to give you a better feel for the bearing condition. Or you could jack the car up with that wheel only raised and run the car in gear (be careful, hand brake on and axle stand under that side) does it replicate the fault if not the bearings might be worn as now the bearing has no load on it, what sort of mileage on the car?

Pete.

Edit :- If anyone is wondering about the wheel left on the ground, don't worry the differential will take care of it :-)

Yes it was- I didn't want to start changing parts and no result so I thought I would check it my self and save a few £££ on labour.
