Would a Glasgow based meet ( 11th June ), be easy for everyone ???

I myself would be travelling a few hours to get there, but it is central.

Can you please put your names here if you would be able to make it.

Thanks

Jim

I hadnt really thought about it but the secc would prob be a good place to meet up.

Most people will know where that is.

Strathclyde park has a regular (and busy) sunday cruise which is usually pretty cool in the summer months and is a 10-15 min drive from the city centre

(just off the m74 near hamilton)

strathycruise.com

Pizza boy might have some more ideas cos i think he lives in glasgow.

Don't go anywhere near strathy cruise! Pot holes a mile deep and how many neds go there every week?

I think a big retail park car park would be good! Dunno which 1 tho, alot 2 choose from!

SECC sounds good but we should just meet there and head 2 another car park, don't want 2 pay 4 parking do we?

Cheers

Yea hes right there about the shellsuit wearing soap evaders...its a never ending subject on the strathypark forum. The park isnt the same anymore its ruled by smelly neds that catch the bus or walk there....only reason for them to go is to attack or abuse people with cars. Theres a very high chance your car will get boshed if its an extremely modded car (like urs jimlad)its full of tos**rs. The only safe place is the pub car park but every1 crams into this little safe haven lol so theres no room really.

SECC is spot on imo its right next to town and its easy to find..signs everywhere for it.

Ok so it would seem the park is off the list! :D

I didnt realise it had got that bad.

So who's got any other suggestions? the secc is definetly the place to meet up

but where are we going from there?

We need to get this sorted so everyone can plan ahead.

Rikki, any suggestions? :help:

Ok, The Glasgow Cruise carpark is about 5 mins, if that from the secc

on Cook Street and is simply a big empty car park.

Sorry its not a bit more exciting but its perfect for what we need it for.

Im running out of ideas so someone else throw some suggestions in please

Yeah jimlad, SECC is basically across the clyde from the town so there are millions of pubs/bars/restaurants a stone's throw away! This is soundin good, better get time off my work and if i can't i'm ill that day! :D

Cheers

P.S looks like i'll have the slowest car there :(

And as for your car.. who cares if it's the slowest !

Not sure what cars are all turning up actually, but quite a few MR2s so far.

Yea this car park is literally right next to town centre. As for munch...take your pick! Theres loads of places and the town centre has a grid layout so tours of the centre are great. Also Glasgow is the city with the most size 8 birds out of the UK population so yet another reason to come over. I sound like a glasgow tourist board person
