Can you advise please of how many miles I might get out of a set of tyres on a 2013 AWD Rav 2.2 manual.

Probably 60% motorway driving

Can only speak for a 4wd mark2. 28k on Toyos and 44k on Michelin. Mainly rural area driving but don't brake or accelerate hand.

I think Redlew's answer is about right, i personally like Michelin tyres very much and i believe pound for pound although they are dearer to buy initially their good performance and high mileage capability makes them cheaper overall. I literally have spent over £12,000.00 on tyres due to various jobs i have had and Michelin have always done the best mileage and also the only make of tyre that twice fitted to a couple of wheels needed no balance weights at all as they were perfectly in balance from the factory. Yokohama's can give amazing grip but they last a fraction of the mileage from my experience. Getting your tyres from Mr T usually means you get free puncture repairs if the puncture is repairable. Of course your car is new so you are trying to estimate their wear rate, i was just offering advise should you ever have to replace them.

With my SR180 on Bridgestones I replaced the fronts at 47K (with 2.8mm tread left) and estimated that the rears would go to 60-70K. I haven't done enough miles in the 4.4 to estimate sensibly yet but I'd expect pretty much the same. [That's probably 70%-80% motorway driving.]

Would be helpful for the OP to indicate what tyres you have. Typically car manufacturers fit at least a couple of different brands to new cars to ensure continuity of supply.

Thanks for all this, a great help. I am looking at a 13 plate at Mr T with 13K on the clock running on Bridgestones

That seems good mileage whichever way you look at it
