Hi there!

I've got this problem with the windows of my Aygo, today they just won't go down. The logic told me that there must be something that affects both of them, like a fuse, as it is very unlikely that both window electrical motors got burnt at the same time. Browsing the forum i've found out that the fuses that may be related with this issue are located in the instrument panel. As nothing else is faulty (abs, central locking, etc), the fuse that has to be damaged is the nº16. The manual states that this fuse (it's a 30A) is not located at the sides of the instrument panel, but BEHIND of it. I have not opened the instrument panel yet, i was wondering if any of you replaced this one before and if it's hard to do or if you have any consideration about this. Thanks in advance...

Sorry about my english, i'm spanish and i'm afraid it might got a little rusted with the time :)

Hello Jorge - welcome to Toyota Owners Club

Look at the following topic - especially post 2 which has another link:

Hello Mike!

Thanks, I just read the topic but doesn't clear my concern...I still don't know exactly where to look at the F16 (the one that I think I have to replace):

I downloaded a Peugeot 107 manual, and in it there's a caption that states that the F15, F16 and F17 are located "behind the instrument panel"...not more specifics

That Peugeot 107 manual also indicates to contact your Peugeot dealer to replace F15, F16 or F17, there might be no easy access to them? I wonder if somebody over here already replace one of those fuses...

These are F8 to F14, right? I'm afraid I'm looking for the F16 :D

The A/C seems to be spread over a couple of fuses.

One also powers the electric windows, doorlocks, revcounter, central locking (and remote reciever),
rear defogger and part of the heater/blower, so if thos systems work that fuse is fine.
This fuse is located under the steering column-cowling,
lefthand side, second from the top, 10A, so it should be colored red.

Another fuse powers part of the above systems too, but also feeds power steering,
wiper controls, ABS and the cooling fan in front of the engine. If they work that fuse is also fine.
Also located on the lefthand side, 5th from the top, 3rd from below, 7.5A, brownish in color.

The third fuse involved only concerns the A/C and extra heating (in certain climates),
also 7.5A (brownish) on the lefthand side, lower most position.

And finally there's a big fuse on the back of the instrument cluster, between the wiring.
It's 40A (green), but it's a very uncommon style of fuse, even my dealer didn't have them in stock!
Looking ath the clusters' back through the windshield it's the single fuse in the middle of the wires.
The other two located top left are for the power windows and main relays.

Ok...that last fuse mentioned must be F15 or F17 as it is a 40A fuse. The one that i'm looking for is a 30A fuse and I guess it has to be located between the wiring somewhere near. Thanks Raistlin! I'll check this tomorrow and update this :)

Ok I think I've found it...F16 must be the pink one:

...and I don't have a remote idea how am I going to reach it...

edit: another pic, I hope i can get to it:

Fuse replaced...ISSUE PERSISTS :dontgetit::dontgetit::dontgetit:

One thing i've noticed, is that when I push the window button, the motor lowers revolutions (like when you turn on the air conditioner for example), so i guess the wiring is correct as the Battery is giving the power to the window motor.

I refuse to believe is the window motors, what else can have impact on both windows at the same time? Another relevant fact might be that the car hasn't been moved in about 7 months.

Any suggestions?
