Need alittle more than that mate ;)

How many miles have you done in the car, when was it last serviced.

How good are you with the tools ?

If you have the service book of the car, have a look in that book it should tell you which parts need inspecting and which need replacing.

EDIT..

on preparation of tools do you have any tools ?

Well the car was bought in June of last year and the the seller informed at that point that the car had a full service in March of 2013 ,and a quick look in the Service book does confirm that.

As far as working with tools is concerned i am pretty OK in that department.

Oh the car had done 38 odd thou when i got her and now its sitting on 43 odd thou ,so as you can see i don't seem to be doing the miles these days, but in the main the car was bought to transport my fishing gear around the Uk and France when i go that is..

Cmia ?Does it actually tell you what's replaced in the service book I'll have to dig it out....

I have some basic tools and what i haven't got i can beg steel or borrow.

Oil and oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, pollen filter. Personally I'd check the pollen and air filters before I bought them tho in case they're clean.

If its been stamped with fullservice history the bits would have been replaced.

eg some times it asks you to "inspect" rather than " replace" depending on mileage of the car.

I would suggest you look in the service book and check to see if the last service was a major or minor / interm

Then flip afew pages back and it will give you the full list of things to do.

You may have to replace yourcoolant / brake fluid of its a major service. :)
