Power Steering Problem Sorted.

Many thanks to all of you who gave me solid advice regarding the Power Steering problem with my 1998 RAV4, but special thanks must go to Gjnorthall one of the club members who advised me to contact "Western Power Steering" in Bristol before I did anything else.

I contacted WPS and after explaining the symptoms to them Gary Bunwin of WPS contacted me and told me that the problem was not the Pump or the Steering Rack, as I had been told by a Mechanic I had taken the car to, but with the Belt.

Well, today I took the RAV into Brockenhurst Garage Service(New Forest) and they fitted a new Steering Pump and Auxillary Belt for less than £60.00. Brilliant.
