T27 Avensis Computer Problem (W53828)

Hi!

I am from Hungary. :) My friend has a 2009 Ave III and a W53828 computer. It has been guarantee exchanged because of screen problem in 2010 (sometimes showed nothing, than icons random, later OK, later again the buttons were not working good, for example for 6 button it spit out the CD). After the guarantee exchange the new one worked fine.

After 2 years, the second W53828 started to do the same, as the first one. What should we do? It is not guaranteed now (got only 1 year for the changed one).

Here are some pics:

Hi,

I actually have exactly the same issue. But it only acts like this if I have left the car in extreme hot for let's 2-3 hours.

Anyone else had the same problem, do you have a fix for it?

I've had the same problem twice this summer, in hot weather after parking for a few hours. After starting the car the cd player spit the disc out and the screen went crazy.

I pressed the radio channel change button and the functions were restored. The cooling of the interior (A/C) could also have had an effect.
