Mk 3 2.2 Diesel Exhaust

Need a middle silencer for a 2.2 diesel mk3 RAV4. Any clues as to where to buy other than Toyota. local exhaust places tell me that they aren't available as after market but surely someone on here has some ideas please?

Theres a couple of manufacturers who now make exhaust parts for the 4.3. Get your exhaust dealer to check the KFZ catalogue - they now supply the middle section for petrol and diesel 4.3's. Around £80 - they also do the diesel version in stainless at around twice the price. I haven't seen the stainless unit but the mild steel version on diesel has a nice note. They're German made and not of the quality of the original as with most aftermarket exhausts. However, with 2 years guarantee and less than a tenth of the price of a dealer part - I can't see many owners complaining. ETS supply only the petrol version at the moment but is slightly cheaper than KFZ.

Hi, Thanks for the info. i see that they are selling KFZ exhausts on eBay but have to be shipped from Germany. Still not expensive by comparison. Are tailpipes just as difficult and expensive to get?

I've only had this vehicle for a few months and have been astounded at how expensive things are for it! A set of injectors from Toyota would write it off. Then there's exhausts as well...and EGR valves and turbos and ....... Thank goodness for good info on forums like this

Fortunately the tailpipe section doesn't seem to fail but the time will come when it does This isn't available as an aftermarket part, though I'm told that Bosal are introducing it shortly.
