Efi Fuse Burning

i'ts been going on for about a week. the 15 amp efi fuse burns interminently every time the engine is cranked and only when it's cranked. The first time it happened i had to put a 20amp just to get the car home. this worked out fine. got the car home and tried replacing it with the right fuse and burned two more. replaced the fuel filter as someone mentioned the pump could be over worked due to clogged filter and had to pull more amps to pushed the fuel through. his worked for about a day and it started blowing the fuse again. had to put the 20 amp fuse back to get the car home, again. replaced the fuse without touching anything else and it works fine. up until a few days later and it's back to blowing up fuse.

i tried to find if it's a short circuit but could find any, pretty much shook the whole car to see if something shorts out, but no sign of a short. what could it be.

bad fuel pump?

bad relay?

interminnent short?

just have to keep looking. by the way this alll happened when the old Battery was replaced. could it be a wrong battery>

plese help

Check your fuel pump has'nt shorted. Take it out for a thorough test. Fule pump knackered = burnt wires = short.
