Toyota Warranty, White Dust

Hi Guys,

So white dust is blowing out of the vents when i switch on the air con. I called up toyota to arrange a check but was told that i'd have to pay £50 for the air con diagnostics, even though it's still under warranty i'd still have to pay even if there were a problem.

Is this normal?

Is this similar to the dust you're getting?

Particularly note posts 24 and 48.

Might be as well to take a print out of relevant posts from this topic with you to the dealer.

Presumably you have an extended warranty or Approved Used warranty - as your car is outside the 3 year/60,000 mile new car warranty.
