as yaris owners might agree that 1.0L is just taking the *****, wonder if NOS can provide the vital ingredients to acceleration etc??!!!

one thing which really buggers me is if NOS reduces lifespan of engines and WHERE can i fit the NOS???? backbox in the boot takes up 80% of the boot space and backseat constantly occupied by friends!!

wonder if anyone can provide that comforting advise.....

thank you

At the end of the day, no 1L is going to be fast and also keep on going. A 1L need's either of 3 things

1. A turbo

2. NOS

3. 1.8 T Sport Engine

I had a 1L when mine went in for a service, there are good for what they are but they just do seam to get anywhere fast. I'd save for the TS if you want a faster car. NOS will cost you loads over the yrs.

Eg. A bottle a week is almost enough to pay the HP on a TS

As far as i'm aware NOS will place serious stress on all of your cars mechanical parts, especially the engine.

Also for the useable performance gain its better to just get a bigger engine like Oli says.

thx lads!! i guess not then!!

did u mention 1.8 VVTI engine just now?? are you talking about implanting the celica's engine in the little Yaris??? that must be a big job!!

what about 1.5 T-sport engine?? i had alot of things done to my car already and the only thing i want to change at the end of the day is the engine...........how much would a 1.5T-sport engine cost then??

Yeh tell me more about transplanting engines!! I'm thinking of doing the same...what is the biggest engine with the biggest potential that would fit?

Having NOS and using NOS is dedfinately not illegal, you just have to be careful how it is used as obviously the performance increases it can provide can be dangerous on a publlic road...

Also have to watch your speeds carefully....
