Toyota Tyre Storage Costs

I had purchased my winter tyres through local toyota dealer as they offer a tyre hotel. The charge I was quoted was free fitting (well all inclusive) when all 4 winter tyres was purchased with storage of summer tyres then free swap back to summers with storage of winter tyres. Then the following winter there is a £90 charge to swap/store for 12 months (the summer swap fee is included). This happened for 2 cycles of winter/summer.

When my wife bought her auris hybrid last year, we did the same by buying winter tyres through toyota anddealing with the same service person being told the same conditions above. Now. said service person has left and on calling to book the swap back to her summer tyres( which should be free) was told that with each swap over there is a £90 charge and that that has always been the case. Obviously not happy and explained the situation and they offered to reduce it to £60 for this occasion. Very annoyed if this has been missold or whether they are trying to pull a fast one as I'm not sure they provided a tyre hotel service prior to 2 years ago.

I wondered if anyone has used Toyota's winter tyre/tyre hotel service and what charges have you been quoted.

Pretty sure Parts King offer a tyre hotel service.

I keep mine in my garage.

Local tyre company charge around £50 for a swap.
