New Toyota Rav4 Vx Vvt-I Import Owner

Hello, I've just bought what I think is a bit of an unusual and special car so I thought I'd join my first car forum.

I've a RAV 4 that was imported from Australia. It started life as an ACA23R or maybe ACA33R. It was imported to the UK in 2007 and is now a VX VVT-I It has been quite a task to get insurance as although the DVLA re-registered it as a European model when it arrived it doesn't easily fit unto any neat insurance drop down boxes.

Despite that it has only 40k on the clock and a great price so I'm very happy with my purchase especially as my old car was a 94 VW polo that had 180k miles on the clock. My 3yr old nephew loves the fact the sunroof comes all the way back 'by magic'.

Unfortunately I don't have an owner's manual and can't find one online. If anyone would have any suggestions of where I could get one that would be great.

Anyway I'm not sure what else other new members say but 'hello everyone' :o) I know nothing about cars and can't tell you about miles to the gallon etc but I took it for a long trip to Brighton from London at the weekend and it moved a 1/4 of the tank. I'd be interested in attending a fellow RAV 4 meeting to maybe get some tips if there is one in the near future. I do like an instruction manual and sad that I don't have one for my RAV.
