Guys I need your knowledge for identifying problem.

I own 2008 1,4 D-4D Auris, and recently I have noticed eye poking misfit on it.

It looks to me, that I have lost some part of plastic wheel arch on the drivers side (LHD). I took a photo of it:

Wheel arch on passenger side has plastic cover that looks like some kind of air reflector. So, I wanted to ask is it missing, or it just has to be so? :) People from Toyota dealership, were not sure, but it looked for them, that wheel arches has to be different and they couldn't show me real example :)

(Sorry for any mistakes, I am not native English speaker)

Your profile states you own a Yaris 1.0 - assume this was your previous car?

Looks to me like a fastening clip has come off or broken.

Yes, Yaris was previous car, I have to change that :)

Actually, the arch is tight, but the gap near bumper "lip" looks too big - passenger side looks differently.

Well to me it looks like a piece is missing or it's broken as it appears to be cracked.

PM Frostyballs as he has one and he should be able to give some advice...

OK, on this dark and dank evening, after putting the i20 away in it's unlit garage, I ventured into the Auris' unlit garage armed with my 4 D-cell and 6 D-cell Maglites, and had a look at the wheel arch liners. From the pictures, I take it we're looking at the forward part of the liner behind the bumper.

On each wheel arch liner there is a flat deflector plate that extends down slightly below the black valance strip on the bumper and covers the width of the wheel arch. Although my Auris is a 2012 model, I'm sure my previous 2009 model was the same.

This seems to be missing on the left hand side of your Auris - which suggests to me that the lower part of the wheel arch liner has been broken at some stage

Thank you very much Frostyballs! As you mentioned and I think the same, some part is missing, but it is strange that Toyota dealership did not see any problems, and after checking parts catalog they told that nothing is missing.

I tried to search internet for wheel arch picture, and could not figure out, is the missing part come with the plastic arch, or it is totally separate.

Unless it is part of the front undertray that is fitted beneath the front bumper.

That does appear to be the same as on my Auris
