Seats (again!)

Now that Cobra aren't doing Starlet brackets (correct me if I'm wrong!) what is everyone doing for mounting aftermarket seats?

How safe is it have brackets made or welded up?

All it needs for them to make some i reckon mate is to pester them like :censor: then they will probably make some as it is they never got back to me and by that time i got my recaros and the frames are on there way from japan as well speak.

Getting custom ones welded up would be fine Si just make sure you use a decent place to make them.

Well if anyone finds some subframes I think I'm defo getting new seats, just got back from Elvington, York, it's only 1hr 15mins drive, but my a :censor: feels like I was sitting on a wheel brace all the way

Actually there's a place up the road from me that does re-upholstery, does anyone know the going rate Maybe front and rear in leather, with extra cushioning

The frames from recaro japan cost me £300 i know it's allot but these seats only cost me that so when you think what i have got in my car for 600 quid it aint a bad deal

Not leather......get them done in Alcantara.

(costs more than leather, but it's much better.)

i still stand buy getting them built up they can end up stronger n cheaper than "ready made mounts" if u find the right ppl i have never looked back. if you do buy brackets sometimes ther is also a height restriction as i thought about buying konig mounts for my konig cp but if ur over 5'11 u wont fit jus sometinhg to look for

still got my celica vvti leather seats, if i do fit em it'll be a weld job, do u reckon any1 would wanna buy em once their done if i do sell the seo? cos dont think id get the money back 4 em when i sell it

I dont like they way they look in the car mate They just dont suite the car very well they are nice and hold you well but I just dont like them much

Knowlson look about for EVO seats mate i got mine for 300 quid the pair and they are sweeeeet proppa recaros look 10x better that the scumbaru ones
