yep I know its far off, but I'm contemplating whether to buy winter tyres with steel wheels now I've got summer tyres on the alloy wheels as I know my step dad can change them himself on his mother's level driveway and he keeps them in the garage.

Is there any reliable places where I can order my size steel wheels, or would you recommend I go for slightly wider rims for winter?

I'd be inclined to check with your insurance company first as to what they will accept.

oh yes, that's something to consider. They are ok with tyres as long as they go on the same rim (admiral didn't even require telling)

Part # 42611-0H010 x 4 for 14" steel wheel as fitted to lesser Aygo uses 155/65/14T tyres

Part # 90942-W2001 x 16 for steel wheel bolts ( different to Alloy wheel type )

I fitted winter tyres on new OEM steel Toyota rims - cost me £120 for 4, from a main Toyota dealer somewhere up north (advertised on ebay).

The narrower the (winter) tyre the better in snow, so best to stick with the standard 155/14 Aygo size, rather than a wider tyre.

That's a good price
