Refreshing to see an article that shows hybrids in a positive light. It also regularly makes reference to the fact that most of the other cars in the list are liny econo boxes the size of shoeboxes.

Even the Jazz hybrid is in the list.

To be totally fair they could offer different sections for different sized cars. The Prius comes in at number 6 yet is the largest car there and is competing with Citroen C1's. One is an automatic and can carry 4 passengers and lots of luggage. The other isn't and can't and can't.

Be interesting to see the results based on size (even mixing fuel types). OK, the slug like, manual, diesel Golf will pip the Prius and is the same size, but comparing like for like size will help people make up their minds better.

But still good to see all the Toyota models high up in both lists.
