Hi,

Recently I bought a Toyota Yaris eConnect 2011. I would like ot activate the auxiliary interface for using iPod or listen the music directly from the phone, but I can't find the option in the panel :(

I searched in the service manual, but the interface printed is different, I have this one

5.jpg

the options in SRC button is CD, RADIO or USB,but not AUX

Do someone know how to activate? I friend I have with a peugeout had to get the car into the mechanic because activate aux was an "extra", and had to paid about 100 euro.

Thank you.

The 2011 Yaris with TOMTOM is not IPOD compatible from factory, you need to purchase a lead set that allows IPOD integration, Part # PZ422-E0332-00

One can use the jack to connect another type of mp3 player - I have used my Samsung Galaxy S Android player with mine.

I also have a 16gb nano usb stick left plugged into the usb socket which holds quite a few albums (around £10-12 from Amazon for a good quality one).

Hmm, but it's really what I want. I have a Nexus 5, and I want to connect the mobile with a Jack-Jack, listening the music from the media player, but there is no option in the panel. I assumed that connecting an ipod was the same than other player.

As Auxiliar is a analog media, the car couldn't detect if there is something playing thru that connection. But how can I change the source to Auxiliar? This what I can't do.
