Right as im thinking of getting a mr2 turbo depending on insurance quotes i receive from Dorset and the autotrader search thing i just want to know the value of my car as will have to get turbo for around same price.

92 GT-Tbar N/A with FSH and recent receipts, that has done 85K, Leather interior, CL, EM, EW. Had New clutch, Sump, Battery, recent Type "C" service (Pads, Plugs, Leads etc) MOT Till December, Tax 6 months, Zircon Blue, Sparco Gearknob, Itavl-Lanti F1 Steering wheel, Crystal Side repeaters, 17" Fox Racing alloys and Yoko A539 Tyres, Pioneer DEH-P77MP Head Unit, Alpine Comps, Kenwood 4 channel amp, Laserline Immobiliser and alarm Body work in mint condition, all it needs is new windscreen, glove box, engine steam clean and wiper arms all which I will be getting done soon.

I bought it for £4000 in Dec 03, and since then spent £1000 on mods and £600 on parts and labour.

does't really matter how much money you've spent on parts and mods mate... you'll never see it back. Just go with the value fo the car on it's own.

As for what THAT is .... I dunno.... :D

I have been looking for an mr2 recently and going by prices/cars i have seen, I reckon yours could be worth about 3k maybe more.

end of the day once your above 3k your getting to turbo territory.

its only really worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Put it in the autotrader at the price you think and see if you get any interest, if you dont then lower the price. But personally I dont see someone paying 4k for a K plate n/a mr2, but you never know.

i reckon £3k is too low for what the car has, this one like is like mine but is 93 model and is on on autotrader, it has done more ileage, has less features that mine and is up for £4,495

it all depends really. tbh i also think 4g's a little high. but that doesnt matter. it's in ur favour 2 get as much as possible. and rem summers comin t-bar's r always in demand at this time!

your forgetting that zircon blue is the rarest MR2 colour there is, I called in at an MR2 specialist in hampshire as i was driving along, saw the 40 mr2s and pulled in.

I was in my zircon sunroof model. Guy comes running out,'is that a uk car?' Yes i reply, 'mate if you put it in for a newer one i'll knock £1000 off anything on the fore court ' i say why, he say 'zircon blue mate, i could sell that within 2 hours of taking it of your hands'....

shop around not every one wants to be a clone in a red one. :D

no,.. i think its just because, people do like different, and when different also involves looking a lot better as standard than most other colours it makes the car worth more.

Myself i'd actually prefer a white one but, i'm glad i hve a zircon one as i will get more for it when (if) i sell it than any other colour. :D

nahh.. i hear what ya sayin mate... i didn't even know my colour was rare till i went to a Jap car meet and found mine was the only one of its type...

People tolf me that the colour is rare.. to have a T-bar in that colour is better.. and to have a Tubby on top of all that...well.. he said i was lucky...
