Poorly Sick Starlet Turbo

Just put a new headgasket on my girlfriends ep82, now its got boost issue........ :ffs: :ffs:

It seems to have loads of lag from a standng start, and it looses boost under load.... basically at half throotle in 5th it'll make a bar by 3500rpm, but full throttle in lower gears it'll make about .8 by 3500, then drop down to .2 - .3 by 5500 :censor: :censor:

I dont think its the actuator, as it had a HKS unit fitted about 9 months ago.......

Any ideas? cooked turbo?

Also the cat overheat lights been coming on on the dash? - The car was decatted about 2 years ago, and its never done that before............

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmmmmm not really sure what to say on this one mate. Don't sound too good anyways :( Where abouts are you located might be able to point you in the direction of someone that knows them to have a look at it.

Have you done a diagnostic test? My cars got a faulty turbo pressure sensor and it makes my boost behave very strangely.
