Also there is a separate yellow wire connected to a mini ISO i haven't connected it cos it doesn't fit in the new head unit anyone know what it is?!

you will need to find 2 wires

the constant +12v wire and the accessory +12v wire and swap them around

my reasoning for this is,i suspect the power is being turned off each you tunr the ignition off

its a common issue with vw's

Yep, as above. Common issue when fitting head units in Aygos. The red and yellow wires need to be switched around. Should always use a multimeter before connecting things though!

Sorry I'm really new to all this stuff so it would be the yellow wire from the micro iso and swap it with the red wire going into the main iso?!

NO forget about that single plug its nothing to do with the power cables.

have a look at the image i posted and understand it it before you start any work, the image is of the back of a stereo

plug A is your grey iso plug then looking from the side the wires go in the plug its the 2nd wire from the left bottom row (pin4)

to be swapped with the 4th wire from the left on the top row (pin7)

if you still dont feel confident take it to an auto electrician they will sort it for you quickly.
