Which Engine Oil For A R Reg Rav4?

Dipped the oil in the RAv we bought yesterday: black, sticky and low.

So its time for a service me thinks.

The hand book says 4.1lt but isn't clear about the grade.

I will probably use a cheapo brand for the first change and do it again with a branded oil after a couple of thousand miles.

Anyone recommend a grade??
