Brake Warning Lights And Lose Of Power

Hi, I have a 2007 yaris SR, one previous owner (my dad). In the last 8 weeks it has developed a worrying and dangerous fault. The ABS kicks in at random, the abs, engine management and VSC lights all come on and stay on for varying lengths of time. The engine loses power, then kicks in again, then loses again. Foot flat to the floor does nothing. This has happened in the outside lane of a motorway and crawling through town at less than 10 mph. Yaris dealer couldn't find any fault codes or issues. It will drive fine for 3-5 days and then do it again. Any ideas welcome. Thanks

Sound like an electrical fault. I suggest checking and remaking all Battery earths.. (and if you don't know how to - get a garage to do it)

And get the Battery tested.

If that does not work, you need a qualified auto electrician to carry out tests.

Thanks, I have it booked in to our local garage next week, and told them your thoughts on checking the earth connections. Will let you know how I get on. H
