Pub Sign Error Attracts Widespread Mocking

This pub in Cornwall has been attracting attention for all the wrong reasons after an inadvertent error made an innocent sign look positively risqué.

When maintenance works closed some of the streets around the Wig and Pen pub in Truro, Cornwall, the landlords wanted to let customers know it was business as usual.

So they got a sign printed, proclaiming; The Wig and Pen is open for business.

Except there wasnt quite enough space between the words pen and is.

The penis open for business gaffe has been attracting a fair amount of attention on social media after passers-by posted pictures of the sign on Twitter.

It has since been removed. Oops.
