Broken Bonnet Cable, Can't Get Bonnet Open On T3

can anyone direct me to a guide on how to open my bonnet? the cable has snappen and I need to pop it mainly to top up oil but also to fix the cable......I can reachto catch through the grill with my finger but thats it!

From the front about 14 inches along the bonnet from the right hand side slide in a blade such as a butter knife and lift the paddle that releases the catch.
