Spark Plug Gap Question

The Mortgage Man

Recommended Posts

Oil and filter changed and plugs out.

The handbook says that only twin ground plugs with a 1.1mm gap should be used.

Until I can afford a new set of twin ground plugs the ones that are in the car will have to go back in.

They are clean and in good nick but are the ordinary sort of Bosch plugs.

Will the gap be the same 1.1mm gap as recommended for the twin ground plugs???

Thank you in advance.

Jonathan

You can gap the plugs to 1.1mm. However it really depends if the Bosch is a compatible plug for this engine. For best fuel economy / performance fit the correct double electrode plug by Denso or NGK

Thanks for that mate.

I have gapped them at 1.1 and its running like a singer sewing machine.

I might run up some curtains on it tonight.
