Should I keep the auto or go for the manuel, I just can't decide. how does the manuel version Gen1 Seo drive like???

auto's faster. computer can switch gears faster than you can.

I say go for the manuel, its more fun and i find faster! my mate has the auto version (cynos) and its not as responsive.

Some automatics shift faster than manuals, these are generally computer controlled manual gearboxes with fancy solenoids.

Automatics with torque convertors are much heavier than a manual, generally shift slower as well.

I'd go for a manual unless i lived in a city with a traffic problem...

I guess ill mod my auto then get a manuel seo, and use my auto for parts.

Convert from auto to manual at a later date. I converted my Sera.

auto = slower, slower at changing gears if you are good :).

the cynos does not change gears quick, i can beat cynos / paseo automatics in the gfs manual... 99% of the time they purely cannot keep up with the launch... her clutch is MEAN, the car just jumps off the line.

only if you're really good. my seo shifts very quickly, but it's a 2G, so that may have made the difference.

BTW-My header and high flow cat are going on tonight. I'll post pics tomorrow :P
