Alternator Issues I Think Avensis 05

Hi,

Had a new alternator fitted back in feb 2014 and since then ive had the magical 3 lights on but they flash on then off for a while then stay on for a few mins then back to flash on and off!, ive done all the checks, topped up with oil, drained water trap and checked all fuses and wiring, these lights came on with the old alternator was still fitted and my N/S front headlight bulb blew, new alt is charging at 14.2v.

Ive ran into Toyota and even a fitter said its a mystery ?? im at my wits end on what todo next? take it back get garage to fit another under warranty? or just take it for a diagnostics.

Just don't know what todo any more and its getting me very mad

the alternator fitted was it brand new or a re-con.

if new was it a genuine part or aftermarket?
