Hello all,

Just had to register, as through reading this forum, I have successfully reset the ABS light on my corolla. I had a problem getting the sensors out of the front hubs to clean them, ended up drilling the bolts out and as suspected the NSF sensor was covered in gunge. Having replaced them the light remained lit. Through this forum and youtube I discovered the means to access the fault code and the means of reset. I have to say it took me a number of attempts before success but it worked for me, ie bridging the diagnostic port and obtaining the fault code. Also the 8 taps on the brake for reset. I dread to think what the cost of this simple repair would have been commercially?

I have had my corolla from new (8* years) and a yaris before that, great cars with very few problems but I think age is catching up with mine and the taxation is horrendous for an automatic 1.6 !
